About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate educators committed to helping students with diverse learning needs reach meaningful milestones. This full-time position involves working in an Illinois elementary school with two openings available in self-contained classrooms serving students primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role focuses on creating structured, engaging learning environments that promote growth and independence.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with elementary students in self-contained special education classrooms.
- Experience supporting students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver individualized instruction that meets each student's unique academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Monitor student progress.
- Adapt instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate educational documentation.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, general education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support.
