About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a certified 4th and 5th Grade Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers the opportunity to inspire learners, adapt instruction to meet diverse educational needs, and help students build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. You'll work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to fostering academic growth and meaningful student achievement. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction tailored to each student's individual educational goals while designing engaging lessons that promote participation, confidence, and academic growth. You will collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure students receive the resources and guidance they need to succeed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate IEP documentation, monitoring student progress, and fostering a structured, inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree.
Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
