Excavation Operator (Residential Plumber)
About The Position
Horizon Services is hiring an Excavation Operator to join its Dig Crew and support excavation projects, sewer line replacements, water line installations, and other underground utility work. The role involves operating and supporting heavy equipment, following dig plans and safety procedures, and helping maintain a safe, professional job site. The position offers full-time, year-round work, primarily Monday through Friday, with optional weekend opportunities for additional income. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation and sewer or water line replacement projects.
- Operate and support excavation equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
- Inspect equipment before use and ensure safe operation.
- Read and follow dig plans, job specifications, and safety procedures.
- Understand machine capabilities and proper excavation techniques.
- Follow grade stakes, markings, and hand signals to ensure accurate work.
- Assist with material handling and site preparation.
- Maintain a safe and professional job site environment.
