About The Position

R. A. Hoy, a NearU company, is hiring a Residential Service Plumber to provide residential customers with plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance. The role involves diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, communicating findings and options to customers, and ensuring work meets local plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and company quality standards. The plumber works independently using a fully stocked take-home company vehicle.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of residential plumbing service and repair experience.
• Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, tools, diagnostics, and local codes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to providing a 5-star customer experience.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman license is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, service, and repair work, including leak detection, drain clearing, fixture replacements, pipe repairs, and water heater servicing.
• Explain findings, service options, and preventative maintenance tips to customers.
• Ensure installations and repairs comply with local plumbing codes, safety guidelines, and company quality standards.
• Manage service calls independently and provide clean, efficient, and professional service.
