About The Position

This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. FWS funds cannot be applied to janitorial, construction, partisan or sectarian positions. The Proctor guides students on test instructions, maintains the examination area's orderliness, and collects all test papers after the exam's conclusion. Reporting to the Office of the Law School Registrar, the Proctor interacts with Law students by administering examinations. Proctors will work in person at the Tenley Campus during mid-term and exam periods each semester. During the 2 week finals period, proctors will work up to 20 hours each week.
