About The Position

The personnel testing, selection and classification unit is responsible for conducting research, developing and administering pre-employment test and assessments for various civil service and non-civil service positions. The unit is also charged with making determinations regarding eligibility of candidates for employment by evaluating their education and experience and determining if they meet the minimum qualification requirements for employment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
  • The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
  • Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
  • Students’ transcript must be submitted.

Nice To Haves

  • Major(s) Preferred: Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct provisional hiring interviews on interview panels with HR staff and subject matter experts, alongside reviewing resumes.
  • Reviewing test questions.
  • Working with subject matter expert panels for test review.
  • Helping with inputting questions into the computerized testing program, including how to write and edit test questions.
  • Helping test the computerized testing program, conducting research, job analyses, and write reports.
  • Reviewing resumes to determine if candidates are qualified for positions.
  • Helping with job analyses in testing computer-based-test-taking.
  • Helping with notices of examination.
