About The Position

Boise Cascade is hiring an EWP Cutter. The role performs daily distribution yard activities in a warehouse operations environment, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and building loads. The position requires considerable physical exertion and involves working in all weather conditions. Boise Cascade is a distributor of building materials and a manufacturer of wood products. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience.
Ability to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.
Ability to perform duties involving considerable physical exertion and work in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of building material products.
Ability to understand and measure required material lengths.
General warehouse experience, including industrial forklift operation, and/or knowledge of the warehouse work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily distribution yard activities for a facility.
Perform distribution-related functions, including receiving, storing, shipping, and building loads.
Operate a forklift.
Ensure each load matches the order before the vehicle exits the yard.
Perform customer service activities.
Apply knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.
Use fundamental mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
