About The Position

Boise Cascade is hiring an EWP Cutter. The role performs daily distribution-yard activities in a warehouse operations environment, including receiving, storing, shipping, and building loads. The position requires operating a forklift, checking loads against orders before vehicles leave the yard, providing customer service, and maintaining an orderly and safe work area. Material Handlers need working knowledge of building materials and warehouse operations, alertness and adaptability to warehouse routines, and the ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations. The role includes considerable physical exertion and work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience.
Ability to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.
Ability to perform duties involving considerable physical exertion and work in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of building material products.
Ability to understand and measure required material lengths.
General warehouse experience, including industrial forklift operation, and/or knowledge of the warehouse work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily distribution yard activities.
