About The Position

The EVS employee maintains the daily care and cleanliness of Indigo Sky Casino. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and casino surfaces, removing dust and smudges from slot machines, disposing of trash, and vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping as needed. Good attendance and timeliness are mandatory. The employee must follow other instructions and perform additional duties requested by their supervisor.

The position requires working in casino operations in a fast-paced environment that may include smoke and secondhand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights. The employee must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of cleaning fluids or cleaning solutions.
• Above-average oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem-solving capability.
• High capacity for learning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
• Ability to maneuver in the casino and visual acuity to observe and respond to customer questions and complaints.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to push a dust mop; mop floors; bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach, and clean above head; and clean bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with smoke and secondhand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping or EVS experience in a business setting is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily care and cleanliness of the casino.
• Clean bathrooms, including mopping floors, cleaning bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products, and wiping mirrors and walls as needed.
• Remove dust and smudges from slot machines.
• Bag trash and dispose of it in outdoor trash containers.
• Sanitize tables, walls, toilets, door handles, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors and desks as needed.
• Maintain good attendance and timeliness.
• Follow other instructions and perform other duties requested by the supervisor.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
