About The Position

The EVS employee maintains the daily care and cleanliness of the casino. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and other areas, removing dust and smudges from slot machines, collecting and disposing of trash, and vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping as needed. The role requires good attendance and timeliness, strong customer service, and the ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and perform other duties as requested.

The position is based at Indigo Sky Casino in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and is full-time on the graveyard shift. The work takes place in a fast-paced casino environment with smoke and secondhand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of cleaning fluids or cleaning solutions.
• Above-average oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem-solving capability.
• High capacity for learning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maneuver throughout the casino and visually observe and respond to customer questions and complaints.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and to push a dust mop, mop floors, bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach above the head, and clean bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping or EVS experience in a business setting is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily cleanliness and care of the casino.
• Clean bathrooms, including mopping floors, cleaning bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products, and wiping mirrors and walls as necessary.
• Remove dust and smudges from slot machines.
• Bag trash and dispose of it in outside trash containers.
• Sanitize tables, walls, toilets, door handles, and other areas as needed.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors and desks as needed.
• Maintain good attendance and arrive on time.
• Follow other instructions and perform other duties requested by the supervisor.
• Respond to customer questions and complaints.
