About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves cleaning and maintaining hospital areas and adjacent buildings in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Work may require traveling between facilities. The technician responds to and initiates communications by phone, handheld radio, pager, and similar devices.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone and after hours when frequently required.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safe work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate awareness of safety protocols, including Materials Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment.
- No education is required.
