EVS Technician - Environmental Services - North
About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role cleans and maintains areas within the hospital and adjacent buildings in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition; duties may require traveling between facilities. The technician responds to and initiates communications using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. The position is based at Cox North in Springfield, Missouri, in the Environmental Services North department. It is scheduled for 40 hours per week, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, on the day shift.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required.
- Must be able to work alone and after hours frequently.
- Must be able to stand and walk continually.
- Must observe safety standards and use safety work techniques at all times.
- Must demonstrate awareness of Materials Safety Data Sheet and Personal Protective Equipment safety protocols.
