About The Position

The EVS Tech assists the Director in maintaining high standards by keeping the Director informed about the condition of assigned areas and training, supervising, and motivating Environmental Services personnel. The role helps ensure scheduled work is followed and completed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some computer skills.
• Ability to operate and handle all types of floor-care equipment safely without assistance.
• Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, lift, and reach repeatedly.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to handle and operate full linen and trash carts and work with required equipment, chemicals, supplies, and tools.
• Satisfactory hearing, sight, and vision.
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Must be cleared by Employee Health before working in patient areas.

Nice To Haves

• Some college experience.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in housekeeping or Environmental Services.
