About The Position
The EVS Tech I promotes a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention while following quality standards. The role performs routine cleaning tasks and maintains an organized, disinfected environment for employees and visitors. It also ensures timely room cleaning to support hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital and discharge-flow needs.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.
