About The Position
The EVS Tech I helps promote a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention while meeting quality standards. This role performs routine cleaning tasks and maintains an organized, disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech I also completes room cleans in a timely manner to support hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital and discharge flow needs.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.
