About The Position

The EVS Tech I is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. In accordance with quality standards, this role performs routine cleaning tasks and helps maintain an organized, disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The position also ensures timely room cleaning, particularly to support hospital patient throughput, and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital and discharge flow needs.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
• Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.
