About The Position

The EVS Attendant performs cleaning duties to maintain the facility, patient care areas, offices, lobbies, and bathrooms in a clean and orderly condition. The role involves cleaning assigned patient care areas, common areas, and/or off-site facility locations using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment. The attendant removes trash, including hazardous and bio-hazardous waste, and keeps the housekeeping closet, cart, and cleaning equipment orderly and in good working condition. The position also involves cleaning equipment, notifying a supervisor when equipment or other facility items need repair, delivering and retrieving equipment or furniture, and setting up and tearing down meeting rooms according to requirements. Work is performed in accordance with established quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10–25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds often; physical demands exceed those for Medium Work.
