About The Position

Perform general daily cleaning and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas. Clean floors daily in corridors and other assigned areas to maintain an environmentally safe and clean atmosphere in accordance with the housekeeping department’s standard procedures. This is a regular position with a 0.6 FTE on the evening, second shift.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of supplies and equipment used in the Environmental Services Department.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate a vacuum cleaner and make beds.
• Ability to efficiently dry mop and wet mop floors in rooms, offices, and public areas.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or GED.
• Housekeeping or related-field experience.
