About The Position

Events Set Up Crew Job Description Wage : $15/hour Shifts : Part time. Day shifts: 8am-5pm. Night shifts & Saturdays: hours vary by event.

Requirements

  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Includes lifting crates, chafers, furniture, AV equipment, decorations, etc., as required for room setups and special events.
  • Must have some weekday morning availability.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team under the direction of the Setup Manager in all aspects of event setup operations.
  • Setup and tear down of property events including: Moving tables and chairs from venue to venue
  • Table Settings
  • Use of equipment for cleaning i.e. pressure washer, leaf blower
  • Event Tents
  • Inventory of Thanksgiving Point assets
  • Upkeep of Thanksgiving Point facilities relating to events.
  • Interact and collaborate with multiple departments on property
  • Must be able to listen, follow directions, and be teachable and willing to learn new tasks on the fly.
  • Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
