About The Position

This position is an integral part of the Group Sales and Events team and works closely with Banquets, Kitchen, Front Desk, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure the successful execution of all events. The person plays a vital support role in ensuring seamless organization and exceptional guest service for our events and group business.

Requirements

  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Strong passion in guest service
  • Proven ability to work in team environment and independently at times
  • Strong computer literacy skills in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have a strong ability to prioritize
  • Possess strong time management skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance at all times

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitors group and events functions ensuring a flawless experience from the start to finish
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating events while meeting the client’s needs and setting the Living Water Resorts team up for success
  • Creates BEO’s (Banquet Event Orders) and Group Resumes for each group and event
  • Review all BEO’s, Group Resumes and Daily Lists and verify all specifications for each group per the client’s requirements
  • Establish an effective method of communication between departments to ensure all group specifications will be delivered
  • Communicate any event changes in a timely manner to the relevant department involved
  • Attend and often lead various meetings regarding events and groups, including pre-event meetings, weekly BEO meetings and other meetings as required
  • Responsible for department’s administrative tasks such as BEO and Group Resume distribution, upkeep of menus, buffet labels and SOP’s.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned based on business levels throughout the resort and organizational changes as directed
