About The Position
We are hiring a Convention Associate to join our jetsetting event team and help them scale! This position is the perfect way to combine your passion for games with your expertise in creative in a fun, upbeat environment. UVS Games is a fast-growing publisher dedicated to bringing the world's best IPs to the tabletop, since 2006. From My Hero Academia and Godzilla to Star Trek and Street Fighter, we have built a reputation for blending deep tactical gameplay with fan-favorite universes. Following the global launch of Riftbound (the League of Legends Trading Card Game) on October 31st, 2025, we are entering a phase of explosive expansion. We are looking for builders, people ready to disrupt the TCG market with creativity, agility, and precision. We don't just sell games; we build ecosystems where players and fans thrive.
Requirements
- Professional experience in live events or tournament operations
- A passion for excellence
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing complex, overlapping projects and timelines
- Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple teams into clear plans
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
- Proficiency in Asana (or comparable) for task creation, dependency tracking, and milestone reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with competitive play programs, leagues, or tournament operations
- Experience coordinating with licensors or external brand partners
- Familiarity with trading card games or tabletop gaming communities
- Comfort working across time zones
- Passion for operational excellence behind great products
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and execution of UVS Games demos and tournament operations at events
- Travel up to 30% to assist with onsite event operations, ensuring an informative, engaging, and memorable attendee experience
- Serve as an on-site event lead, fostering positive relationships with demo staff, players, collectors, retailers, influencers, and community leaders
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to align event activations with product launches, promotions, and fan engagement campaigns
- Event Support - Documents Organized Play requirements for events and tracks related deadlines, ensuring cross-team clarity
- Other Duties as Assigned
