The job involves: Providing excellent customer service by interacting with patrons and associates in a professional, friendly, helpful and approachable manner. Controlling the flow of traffic, access to and within the facility to ensure efficiencies for guests when attending special events. Performing entrance screening, metal detector wanding and bag checks. Responding to patron complaints in a helpful and courteous manner. Assisting with overall crowd control or escorting patrons offsite when necessary. Diffusing potential negative or conflict situations that have the potential to escalate. Patrolling the venue; monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues and other breaches of security. Protecting the venue from illegal and/or disruptive activities; collecting any information/statements and completing reports as necessary. Operating a two-way radio to communicate with other Security team members and Supervisors. Providing first-aid, CPR, or other medical attention as needed. Executing emergency policies and procedures as required. Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation. Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties. Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.
