About The Position

The Events Bartender crafts and serves beverages while ensuring guests feel welcome and cared for. The role includes responsible alcohol service in accordance with liquor laws and company policies, keeping the bar clean and organized, restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, completing opening and closing duties, handling cash and tip reporting accurately, and maintaining sanitation and food safety standards. The position is part time at Springfield University Plaza in Springfield, Missouri, with compensation ranging from $15.25 to $16.01. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of bartending experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or willingness to complete them within 60 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Friendly, energetic personality and strong professionalism.
