About The Position

Shootday is seeking talented event videographers in Louisville for paid freelance assignments. The role involves capturing memorable moments at varied events and delivering high-quality raw video footage; Shootday handles the editing. Videographers use their own professional equipment and may work with other videographers as needed. Assignments are offered with complete scheduling control, so videographers can accept or decline based on availability. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Located in or able to commute to Louisville.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as video stabilizers (gimbals) and high-quality microphones.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality RAW video footage on time.
• Cover diverse events, including corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and the event ambiance.
• Adapt the videography approach to each event’s needs.
• Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
• Use professional camera equipment, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers (gimbals), and high-quality microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for the best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
