About The Position

Shootday is seeking event videographers located in or able to commute to Louisville for paid freelance assignments. Videographers capture memorable moments at a variety of events and deliver high-quality raw video footage; Shootday handles editing and project operations. Assignments may include corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings. Scheduling is flexible, and videographers may accept or decline assignments based on their availability. The role involves using and maintaining professional videography gear and communicating with clients and the Shootday team. Applicants should submit a CV, portfolio, and a brief introduction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Located in or able to commute to Louisville.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as video stabilizers (gimbals) and high-quality microphones.
