Event Videographer
About The Position
Shootday is seeking event videographers located in or able to commute to Cincinnati for paid freelance assignments. The videographer captures memorable moments at a range of events and delivers high-quality raw video footage; editing is handled by Shootday. Assignments may include corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings. Freelancers can accept or decline assignments according to their availability and are paid per assignment. Videographers use and maintain their own professional camera equipment, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers such as gimbals, and high-quality microphones. Shootday provides project operations such as editing, logistics, and client communication, along with professional support and opportunities to work with clients across a global network. Applicants should submit a portfolio, a brief introduction, a CV, and the completed application form.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event videography and a strong portfolio.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work in different environments and event types.
- Reliable transportation to event locations.
- Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
- Ability to work well with others when needed.
- A videography degree or equivalent experience.
- Located in or able to commute to Cincinnati.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Own and maintain videography gear, such as gimbals and high-quality microphones.
