About The Position

Opus Agency is a global event agency seeking an Event Support Specialist to join their Event Technology & Registration team. This role is crucial in executing event registration support for large-scale corporate events, partnering with major clients like Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce. The specialist will be at the forefront of shaping the future of event marketing in an AI-infused world, focusing on driving innovative strategies and fostering real-world connections. The position is remote within the United States and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt contract role with potential for extension or conversion. Travel is required for specific dates.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Managing attendee support emails
  • Processing ticket cancellations, transfers, and registration requests
  • Updating hotel reservations
  • Providing clear, professional communication with attendees, clients, and vendors
  • Assist attendees with registration processes, including ticket purchasing, transfers, and hotel bookings
  • Respond to attendee inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and clarity
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of event registration processes
  • Serve as a liaison between attendees and event management, specifically regarding platform issues
  • Support event managers in training new team members
  • Complete tasks as assigned by event project managers
  • Ensure all proprietary information remains confidential
  • Travel onsite to provide attendee support as needed (required Nov. 28–Dec. 5)
  • Assist in tracking accessibility requests, meal preferences, and other attendee needs
