About The Position

The Event Support Asset Manager/Logistician supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will be responsible for logistics, organizing, controlling and maintaining all hardware and consumable asset inventory within a computer hardware/software environment that is ever-changing and improving. This includes asset flow control in and out of the environment, shipping and receiving of assets, tracking movement of assets within the organization, tracking security issues as they pertain to asset management and database development for the tracking of assets including data entry and information maintenance. The role also involves handling and properly marking both classified and unclassified assets, coordinating with other entities for the proper handling of assets, and ensuring asset readiness in support of event architectures. This includes engineering trade studies and objective life data analysis activities (end-of-life, end-of-service, etc.). The selected candidate may be assigned as an employee for one of our teammate companies.

Requirements

  • 4, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience (may be reduced with completion of advanced education)
  • 2 years of directly related experience with logistics.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to travel internationally.
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Remedy
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities
