Event Staff (Ushers, Ticket Taker, & Guest Services)
About The Position
Bon Secours Wellness Arena is looking for enthusiastic, guest-focused individuals to join their Event Staff team. This role is the face of the fan experience and involves rotating through key guest service roles including Ticket Taking & Entry, Ushering & Seating, Greeter & Guest Services, and Security & Crowd Management. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, ensuring smooth venue access, guiding guests to seats, being a friendly first impression, and helping to keep the environment safe, fun, and flowing. Shifts involve keeping aisles clear, directing guests, standing at checkpoints, and handling situations as they arise in a fast-paced live entertainment environment. The role requires extended periods of standing, frequent stair use, exposure to loud noise, variable lighting, varying temperatures, and large crowds.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older with a High School diploma or equivalent GED
- Basic comfort with technology: navigating a scheduling website, checking email regularly, and using a mobile app for timekeeping
- Available for a flexible schedule including daytime weekday shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and dependable
- Calm, composed, and focused when the energy is high
- Alert and proactive
- Must be available to work at least two (2) shifts every month
- Direct Deposit required
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of customer service experience through employment, internship, or volunteering
Responsibilities
