About The Position

Premium Retail Services is seeking an experienced event professional to serve as the primary event specialist for a client’s Google Beam communication technology business. The role plans, operationalizes, and executes technical audiovisual deployments and manages event operations and logistics across a variety of events during the 2027 calendar year. Work must align with budgets, brand guidelines, and business objectives. The position involves events and industry trade shows, Google-run demo days and customer trials, and marketing campaigns that may include demonstrations and filming. Google Beam is a communication technology designed to create face-to-face conversational experiences across distances, using 3D imaging and spatial audio and integrating with remote video platforms. The Event Specialist coordinates deployments and demonstrations, works with Google employees, agency partners, and vendors, and manages projects from planning and installation through quality checks, live demonstrations, and post-event load-out. The role also develops event-specific project plans, coordinates planning meetings, participates in technology training, and manages multiple projects of moderate to high complexity. The role requires balancing strategic planning with practical responses to immediate needs, establishing processes to address operational gaps, and conducting post-event retrospectives. The Event Specialist works with Google legal teams to support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The position is based in the US with a hybrid arrangement and requires approximately 60% domestic and international travel, including extended periods away, as well as evening and weekend availability when necessary. Most working hours should align with Pacific Standard Time.
