About The Position

This position is with a large well-established hospitality company; a progressive and diverse company that has been serving the corporate, social, and production industry for over 30 years. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California and services large corporations, private clients, major sports and news broadcast companies, venues, concert tours, golf events, corporate marketing tours, and major sporting events throughout San Diego and across the globe. As an event Setup/ Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and maintaining an organized warehouse space.

Requirements

A Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Available to work evenings and or weekends.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with event setup or warehouse experience.
Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities

Assist in the load in and setup and breakdown of event spaces as well as loading out of events.
Receive, inspect, and inventory event equipment and supplies upon delivery.
Maintain accurate recordings of inventory levels and work with Director of Operations to maintain inventory.
Ensure that all event equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with Director of Operations for repairs or replacements when necessary.
Assist in loading and unloading event equipment onto trucks or vans.
Safely transport equipment to warehouse post event.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all transportation activities.
Keep warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of equipment.
Label and categorize items for easy identification and access.
Work closely with team members to ensure seamless event set up and warehouse operations.
Communicate effectively with event planners and coordinators to meet event requirements.
