About The Position
Live Nation Entertainment is hiring an Event Set Up/Teardown Crew member for Oakdale Theatre. The role supports special events and shows through setup and breakdown, along with simple carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods. The work involves frequent changes in activity in a fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions, and requires extended periods of walking and standing and the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The position offers the opportunity to work around live music, snacks and drinks before or after shifts, opportunities to build friendships, career growth and advancement, and the possibility of working at other venues in the state and surrounding states.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 3–5 years of maintenance or facilities trade experience.
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions, and to change activities frequently.
- Ability to perform physical activities including walking, talking, seeing, hearing, pushing, balancing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and handling.
