About The Position

The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is seeking self-motivated individuals for the Event Services Operations Staff position. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the complex, handling equipment, facility care, and event preparation. Requirements

Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Ability to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

Perform work duties in an environment around animals and livestock with exposure to dirt, dust, and hay.
Work different shifts in a 7 day-a-week vendor-controlled environment.
Perform duties in various types of adverse weather conditions.
Experience using loaders, tractors, and/or forklifts.

Responsibilities

Operate lifts, loaders, trucks, tractors, and other machinery across the complex.
Assist with setup, placement, and teardown of event materials, including tables, chairs, barriers, and display items.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, restrooms, stalls, and various surfaces throughout the buildings.
Clear debris, shovel snow, remove trash, and help keep outdoor areas safe and accessible.
Load, unload, and move supplies such as straw, hay, feed, scrap materials, and furniture.
