About The Position

The Event Services Associate supports smooth event operations through hands-on event setup and teardown, janitorial work, and general maintenance. The role helps maintain welcoming, clean, safe, and orderly event spaces and requires stamina, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Work takes place at the National Western Complex, a multipurpose indoor and outdoor commercial and agricultural complex where dusty conditions and animals may be present. This is a seasonal, hourly, non-exempt position with an anticipated end date of February 1, 2027; employment may end earlier or be extended according to operational needs. The position is on-site every day during Stock Show, typically for 12–16 hours at a time. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, and offers are contingent on a successful criminal background check. Requirements

• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and moving continuously throughout shifts.
• Able to access and navigate the National Western Complex in its entirety, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Fluent in English with clear verbal communication abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check as a condition of an offer.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with event setup, janitorial work, or general maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging equipment, furniture, and signage.
• Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Complete general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and facility upkeep.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment by following company and event policies and promptly addressing hazards.
• Perform other duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
