About The Position

Lombardi Family Concepts is hiring a reliable, hands-on associate to support its Catering & Events team during increased seasonal activity. The role works directly with the Director of Catering and supports event setup and breakdown, transportation and organization of equipment, storage-facility upkeep, and basic maintenance in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The position is temporary and seasonal, with the possibility of extension or transition to longer-term employment based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

Comfort performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and event schedules.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in event setup, warehouse operations, facilities maintenance, moving, or general labor.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor maintenance tasks.
Valid driver's license, preferred if transportation duties are required.
Enjoyment of hands-on work and staying physically active.
Initiative, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and pride in keeping equipment and workspaces organized.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Catering with preparation, setup, and breakdown of catered events and special functions.
Load, unload, transport, and arrange event equipment, tables, chairs, décor, and supplies.
Prepare event spaces before guest arrival and help pack, transport, and return equipment after events.
Keep event equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized catering storage facility; organize shelving, equipment, supplies, and event materials.
Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading supplies, and maintaining inventory.
Identify damaged equipment or supplies that need repair or replacement.
Help improve storage layouts and operational efficiency.
Perform basic maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of catering equipment and storage areas.
Assist with assembling furniture, shelving, and event-related equipment using common hand tools.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and equipment.
Provide additional hands-on operational support as needed.
