About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security staff in Orlando for events at Inter & Co Stadium and other venues, including convention centers. Stadium events pay $19 per hour. This is an outdoor stadium role, with flexible schedules and opportunities to work convention center events. The position is responsible for checking bags, enforcing access control, and implementing venue policies and procedures to help keep guests and owners safe while providing superior customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Security D-License for the position.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; additional screening may be required when driving a customer- or company-owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage venue entry by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic into and out of the venue.
• Screen guests at entry using bag searches, hand wands or metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Monitor vital checkpoints for security breaches to protect guests, staff, and venue ownership assets.
• Respond promptly to potential crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when ejection is warranted.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at facility entrances, aisles, concourses, and other locations.
• Give guests helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
