About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security staff to support game days and special events in Lafayette, Indiana. The role contributes to event preparation and execution, helps manage guest entry and venue traffic, and provides a welcoming, helpful experience for guests. No prior experience is required. The position pays $15 per hour, with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and work under 30 hours per week. Candidates from surrounding cities are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; may also be required to pass a driver's record check.
• Must be professional and articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage appropriate venue entry, which may include collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly, personal manner at venue entrances, aisles, concourses, or other locations, and thank them at the end of the interaction.
• Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Communicate with guests using a natural speaking voice, friendly tone, and appropriate inflection.
