About The Position

KRE Security is seeking dependable, professional part-time, event-based Security Officers to support university sporting events in the Lewisburg, Pennsylvania area. Assignments may include football, soccer, basketball, and other sporting or event needs, with both indoor and outdoor work available. Roles include interior and exterior event security, parking assistance, and traffic control. Team members help provide a safe, welcoming experience for students, staff, athletes, and visitors by maintaining a visible, approachable presence, monitoring assigned areas, assisting guests, and following site-specific procedures. Scheduling is flexible and event-based.

Requirements

Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Available to work scheduled sporting events, which may include evenings and weekends.
Must meet applicable company hiring requirements and complete any required background checks, training, and site-specific clearances.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, event staffing, parking, or customer service experience is preferred but not required, depending on the assignment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and approachable presence.
Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Follow post orders and instructions from supervisors.
Assist with crowd control, access management, and parking operations as assigned.
Communicate professionally with guests, university personnel, and fellow security officers.
Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work assigned shifts.
Complete required reports and communicate incidents promptly.
For interior assignments, assist with access control, monitor entrances, and observe spectator activity.
For exterior assignments, monitor designated outdoor areas and help maintain security around athletic venues.
For parking and traffic-control assignments, direct vehicles to designated parking areas, provide parking instructions, and help maintain safe traffic flow before and after events.
Provide a visible security presence and assist guests.
