About The Position

KRE Security is hiring dependable, professional part-time event security staff to support sporting events at a university in the Lewisburg, Pennsylvania area. Assignments may include football, soccer, basketball, and other sporting or event needs, with work available both indoors and outdoors. Roles include interior and exterior event security, parking and traffic control, and event security officer duties. Staff help provide a safe, welcoming experience for students, staff, athletes, and visitors. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be available for scheduled sporting events, which may include evenings and weekends.
Must meet applicable company hiring requirements and complete any required background checks, training, and site-specific clearances.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, event staffing, parking, or customer service experience is preferred but not required, depending on the assignment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and approachable presence.
Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Follow post orders and instructions from supervisors.
Assist with crowd control, access management, and parking operations as assigned.
Communicate professionally with guests, university personnel, and fellow security officers.
Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work assigned shifts.
Complete required reports and communicate incidents promptly.
Assist with access control, monitor entrances, and observe spectator activity inside athletic facilities.
Monitor designated outdoor areas and help maintain security around athletic venues.
Direct vehicles to designated parking areas, provide visitors with parking instructions, and help maintain safe traffic flow before and after events.
Provide a visible security presence and assist guests.
