Officers will help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for attendees, event staff, and other authorized personnel. This is a temporary, event-based assignment. Candidates must be available for the full shift from 10:45 AM to 10:30 PM on the event date and report reliably and on time. Applicants must possess a physical copy of a current, valid California Guard Card for verification; a Guard Card number alone is not sufficient. A combined PTA/AUOF certificate is accepted. Documentation must be available for verification, subject to applicable legal exemptions. Applicants must demonstrate clear communication skills, professional conduct, and a customer-service-oriented approach. They must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, remain composed when addressing concerns, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively with supervisors and other event personnel. Punctuality, attentiveness, and reliable attendance for the full shift are essential. Previous event security and customer service experience are preferred but not required; applicants without prior experience may be considered if they meet the licensing, training-documentation, availability, and other qualifications. The assignment takes place in an active festival environment and may involve extended periods of standing or walking, interaction with large crowds, and exposure to elevated noise levels. Officers must be able to perform the essential duties safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
