About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Security staff for seasonal football-season work on its Game Day Event Team in Lexington, Kentucky. The role takes place in an event environment and supports event-day preparation and execution at venue entrances and other guest areas. Candidates from surrounding cities are welcome. No prior experience is needed. The position offers flexible, part-time scheduling under 30 hours per week and pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Help manage venue entry, including collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other locations, and thank them at the end of each interaction.
Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their event experience.
Communicate with guests using a natural speaking voice, friendly tone, and appropriate inflection.
