About The Position

Unifi Security is seeking Security Officers to provide security services at airport facilities. The role oversees provisioning and access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors accessing client facilities, ensuring appropriate authorization and secure entry. Paid training is provided for new employees. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is listed as full-time, with full-time schedules starting at 30 hours per week. The listed base pay rate is $16.50. Work may involve rotating hours, A.M. and P.M. shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as well as outdoor weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able and open to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.
• Must be able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds; constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds; and constantly walk, stand for long periods, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.

Responsibilities

• Inspect identifications and vehicle decals; escort employees; and screen visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
• Patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Report security incidents, document criminal or suspicious activities, and notify management of incidents and emergencies.
• Respond to building emergency alarms, including fire alarms, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
• Manage and communicate via radios and other security-related equipment.
• Complete work safely and securely, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the skill, experience, and capabilities expected for the position.
