About The Position

NewSouth Window Solutions, now backed by Window Nation, is seeking an Event Sales Representative to interact directly with homeowners at community events, festivals, and home shows. The primary goal is to generate leads and appointments for the sales team while representing the brand professionally and enthusiastically. This entry-level, part-time position offers paid training and opportunities to develop skills in sales, negotiation, strategic planning, and closing techniques. The role involves engaging with customers, capturing lead information, and representing the brand positively in an event environment. Experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, retail, food service, education, or service is valued, as are strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. Direct event marketing experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 6 hours during event
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Candidates must be available for a minimum of two weekends per month (Friday through Sunday)
  • Candidates should be available to work approximately 10-30 hours per week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience of sales, lead generation, or similar experience
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees of the organization in one-on-one, small, and large group settings
  • Fluency in a second language is considered an asset
  • Direct event marketing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with homeowners at community events, festivals, and home shows.
  • Generate leads and appointments for the sales team.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Set up branded booths or displays, including signage, promotional materials, and product samples.
  • Actively approach attendees, initiate conversations, and introduce company products or services.
  • Gather customer information, answer questions, and qualify leads for follow-up.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Create on-site event buzz and promote brand knowledge.
  • Use qualifying sheets and scripts to resolve customer questions and concerns.
  • Adjust on-site event marketing and sales tactics according to current KPI targets and results.
  • Perform daily set-up, maintenance, operation, and presentation of on-site event marketing programs.
  • Work in an event environment, standing for long periods.
  • Travel to various event locations within a designated region.
  • Be on time to set up marketing collateral, stay through the event, and break down collateral.
