About The Position

Midvale Golf & Country Club is a private club known for its strong tradition and active membership. The Club hosts a variety of events including weddings, golf outings, corporate meetings, and member events, aiming to provide a high-quality hospitality experience in a premier setting. The Event Sales & Events Manager will be responsible for leading event sales, planning, and execution for all types of events hosted at the club. This role encompasses the entire event lifecycle, from venue sales and client relationship management to detailed event planning and on-site coordination. The manager will work closely with the golf operations and food and beverage teams to ensure seamless and high-quality event delivery. This is an on-site position that requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in event sales, event planning, hospitality management, or venue coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with event management or CRM software
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

  • Experience in a private club, golf course, hotel, or event venue preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the event sales process, including lead generation, client inquiries, tours, proposals, and contract execution
  • Coordinate and execute weddings, corporate events, golf outings, and private events
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Use Tripleseat® event management software to track inquiries, bookings, and event details
  • Lead weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with internal teams
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, culinary, and golf operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Oversee event timelines, setup, and on-site coordination
  • Develop and implement club social events and member programming
  • Track event revenue, expenses, and commissions
  • Ensure all events meet the Club's hospitality and service standards
