About The Position

Midvale Golf & Country Club is a private club known for its strong tradition and active membership. The club hosts a variety of events including weddings, golf outings, corporate meetings, and member events, aiming to provide a high-quality hospitality experience in a premier setting. The Event Sales & Events Manager will be responsible for leading the entire event lifecycle, from sales and client relationship management to planning and on-site coordination for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, and private functions. This on-site role requires close collaboration with the golf operations and food and beverage teams to ensure seamless event execution and demands availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in event sales, event planning, hospitality management, or venue coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event management or CRM software (Tripleseat® or similar preferred)
  • Experience in a private club, golf course, hotel, or event venue preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the event sales process, including lead generation, client inquiries, tours, proposals, and contract execution
  • Coordinate and execute weddings, corporate events, golf outings, and private events
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Use Tripleseat® event management software to track inquiries, bookings, and event details
  • Lead weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with internal teams
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, culinary, and golf operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Oversee event timelines, setup, and on-site coordination
  • Develop and implement club social events and member programming
  • Track event revenue, expenses, and commissions
  • Ensure all events meet the Club's hospitality and service standards
