About The Position
Shinesty is hiring an Event Sales Ambassador to represent the company at the National Finals Rodeo events in Las Vegas in December 2026. The role involves attracting shoppers to the booth, entertaining customers, selling Shinesty merchandise, and helping manage booth operations. Events include NFR Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Roper Christmas at the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino, and Stetson Country at the Rio. The event run is listed as Thursday, December 3 through Saturday, December 12/13, 2026, with setup on December 2 and teardown on December 13/14. Show hours are 9 AM–4 PM daily, and shifts include setup and closing, approximately 8 AM–5 PM. The schedule uses rotating shifts with two-person crews alongside the Shinesty team; applicants should share their availability across the run. Compensation is $24 per hour.
Requirements
- Retail, event, or direct sales experience, including an example of achieving a sales goal.
- Outgoing and likable demeanor; enjoys crowds and does not take themselves too seriously.
- Able to work long days on a busy show floor, including standing and moving around for full shifts; reasonable accommodations are available.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate clearly.
- Provide availability across the event run.
Responsibilities
- Attract foot traffic, pitch Shinesty merchandise, and close sales.
- Entertain customers and maintain high energy throughout the event.
- Help with booth setup and teardown.
- Keep merchandise stocked and looking sharp throughout the day.
- Represent Shinesty at the events.
