About The Position

Federato is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to join their innovative Events team. This role will be responsible for reinventing industry events and driving growth through world-class event strategies. The ideal candidate will own the strategy, planning, and execution of Federato’s third-party conference and field event portfolio, leading programs across global conferences, targeted field activations, and experiential moments. Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of event marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or a related field
  • Proven success managing third party and field event portfolios
  • Exceptional sales enablement skills; you deeply understand how events support pipeline goals
  • Strong project management capabilities; you keep complex programs on track without missing details
  • Skilled negotiator who can secure favorable sponsorships and vendor contracts
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal communication
  • Data driven mindset with experience using event metrics, dashboards, and reports
  • Experience partnering with agencies, vendors, and conference organizers
  • Able to articulate strategic recommendations and tie sponsorship decisions to business objectives
  • Strong creative instincts and willingness to bring bold new ideas forward
  • Highly organized and thrives in a fast paced, scaling environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage Federato’s third party and field event portfolio.
  • Develop event strategies aligned to marketing and sales goals.
  • Build and execute plans for new conferences, sponsorships, and field programs.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, marketing, product, and leadership to shape priorities and program direction.
  • Evaluate event opportunities and articulate clear recommendations based on business goals.
  • Manage logistics, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and run-of-show for all third party and field events.
  • Lead coordination with vendors, production partners, and creative agencies.
  • Negotiate sponsorship packages, booth options, and vendor rates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry conference organizers and partners.
  • Ensure every program is delivered flawlessly, on time, and on budget.
  • Drive highly cross functional internal workflows, aligning sales, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Lead event enablement for sales: pre-event briefing, onsite readiness, follow-up plans, lead management, and onsite meeting coordination.
  • Communicate plans clearly, succinctly, and proactively to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
  • Track KPIs across pipeline influence, engagement, lead quality, attendance, and ROI.
  • Surface clear insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Build a continuous improvement loop across all events and programs.
  • Bring fresh ideas to elevate the event portfolio beyond standard conference marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate Federato through experiential moments, unique sponsorship elements, and new event formats.
  • Constantly push to break the mold and innovate our approach to industry events.
