About The Position

Lumos Experiences is seeking energetic, reliable, and professional Event Managers to help deliver candlelit concerts across the Chicagoland area. The role supports live music events held in churches and other unique venues, helping create the distinctive candlelit atmosphere and ensuring guests have a seamless, memorable experience. Event Managers oversee event activities from setup through breakdown, working with musicians, venue staff, and fellow team members. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities for additional hours, increased responsibilities, and leadership roles as the company grows.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
• Availability on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Chicagoland area, up to approximately 2.5 hours when needed.

• Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with event setup and venue transformation.
• Create the signature candlelit atmosphere for concerts.
• Manage guest check-in and seating operations.
• Coordinate with musicians, venue staff, and fellow team members.
• Oversee event flow from setup through breakdown.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Troubleshoot issues with confidence, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
