About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced professionals with backgrounds in event planning, hospitality management, venue operations, catering, guest services, or related service industries. This role focuses on reviewing and evaluating event and hospitality-related documents and professional work products for quality, accuracy, relevance, and practical soundness. Selected professionals will assess plans, operational materials, spreadsheets, presentations, and supporting documentation while providing clear, structured feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience in event planning, hospitality management, venue management, catering, or a closely related service industry
  • Experience as an Event Planner, Event Manager, Hospitality Manager, Event Coordinator, Catering Manager, Venue Manager , or similar professional
  • Strong understanding of event planning, hospitality operations, service delivery, and coordination
  • Strong analytical and document-review skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Comfortable reviewing varied event and hospitality-related work products
  • Able to work independently and provide precise professional feedback
  • Applicants must be based in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada

Responsibilities

  • Assess whether proposed approaches reflect realistic hospitality environments
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or unclear responsibilities
  • Evaluate recommendations for practicality and service quality
  • Review materials involving venues, event logistics, and onsite coordination
  • Assess scheduling, capacity, resource, and operational requirements
  • Evaluate coordination between teams, vendors, and service functions
  • Identify risks or gaps affecting event execution
  • Review operational recommendations for feasibility and completeness
  • Review materials related to guest service and client-facing event experiences
  • Assess communication, service delivery, and coordination approaches
  • Review recommendations for maintaining consistent service standards
