Event Lead
About The Position
The Event Lead ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members. The role provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent and demonstrates established standards for keeping buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The position may involve operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties. The Lead oversees and performs cleaning operations and additional service requests in the assigned building, supports team scheduling and communication, and monitors the quality and completion of work. The role also includes training new hires, maintaining access keys and cards, validating time records, and checking supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar work experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Maintain keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Complete any additional certifications or training needed for the site type.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
